Frequently Asked Questions

Superior Salt Mix

I am new to cooking, can I really use this on everything?

Yes!! If it is not dessert, you should try Acme Superior Salt Mix on it. All food will taste better if you take a moment to season it. This is a seasoning salt, so start off with a small amount of seasoning, too much salt will definitely not taste good. If you are cooking meat, dry it off with paper towels, then sprinkle a little Acme Superior Salt Mix on all the sides. Cook your meat to the proper internal temperature (Google it), let it rest for 15 minutes before cutting it and then taste. If you think it needs a little more salt, you can use a little more Acme, or you can try a good quality salt to finish it off. Here is a small list of our favorite things to season with Acme Superior Salt Mix: Roasted vegetables, French Fries, eggs, hash browns, casseroles, pop corn, sauteed vegetables, salads, and so much more.

Is there MSG in your Superior Salt Mix?

No, not in any of our products, ever. We do not add any fillers, nor do we use any anti-caking ingredients.

Do you have a salt free version?

No, not at this time. It is something we would like to offer down the road, so please check back occasionally to see if we have added it!

My Acme Superior Salt Mix has clumps in it, is that bad?

No. It is an indicator that there is moisture in the air, and or on your hands when you grabbed a pinch! Whatever the case, it is only slightly inconvenient, all you need to do is simply rub any clump between your fingers and you are as good as new! We do not want to add an anti-caking agent to our seasonings, so there will be clumps occasionally.
