The Ingredients

Serves: 2

  • 1 large sweet potato (Any color!)
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Acme BBQ Rub #103
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted or olive oil

Tips

KEEP IN MIND

  • This recipe can be made much bigger, adjust the butter or oil to enough to coat the wedges.
  • Any color of sweet potato will give you similar results, even if you use yams.
  • No sweet potatoes! No worries, you can substitute with other potatoes, or even carrots!!
  • No Acme BBQ Rub #103?? Also, don’t stress, you can use Acme Superior Salt mix (only use 2 teaspoons for the recipe above), you can even use STK Blend!

The Method

Step 1

Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2

Wash and dry your sweet potatoes. Cut them into wedges by cutting the potato in half length-way. Then carefully cut triangular pieces that look a little like wedges, about 4 per half.

Step 3
Put the wedges on a rimmed baking sheet. Pour melted butter or olive oil over the wedges and sprinkle the BBQ Rub over them. Carefully “rub” the wedges around to get each covered in butter or oil and seasoning.

Step 4
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until a fork will pierce the thickest wedge easily. Serve hot.
